Producer denies talking about Trisha

With some recent reports quoting producer Shibu Thameens as saying that Trisha is back on the sets of Saamy Square, the producer has denied it.

"Trisha has to be a part of the film or pay a huge amount as compensation for our losses. After we approached the Producers council, she has agreed to be a part of the film. Trisha has a substantial role in this sequel," he was quoted as saying in those reports.

Reacting to this, Shibu tweeted: "Its not true. The dignified people @VishalKOfficial @kegnanavelraja @prabhu_sr #Nassar sir of respective association are aware of our real amicable interest and helping us to find a solution. @trishtrashers. We never ever opened up to any media on this topic."

Meanwhile, the Ghilli and Mankatha actress has also said that she is not a part of the film and does not want to give any statement once again on the same.

Saamy is a 2003 police story presented by K Balachander and produced by Pushpa Kandasamy under banner Kavithalayaa Productions.

The film stars Vikram, Trisha and Kota Srinivasa Rao in the lead. The film's music was composed by Harris Jayaraj. Upon release, the film was highly successful at the box office. It was remade in Telugu as Lakshmi Narasimha (2004) starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and Asin, in Kannada as Ayya (2005) starring Darshan and Rakshitha and later in Hindi as Policegiri (2013) starring Sanjay Dutt and Prachi Desai.
