VJs Sangeetha and Niveditha from Sun Music TV channel have earned the wrath of Suriya fans, after they made fun of the actor’s height in their show 'Franka Sollatta'.
Not only fans, actors like Vishal and Karunakaran, producer KE Gnanavel Raja, director Vignesh Shivan and producer Dhananjayan criticized this show.
Sangeetha and Nivedhitha, while hosting the show, were commenting, "Looks like director KV Anand has approached Amitabh Bachchan to be part of Suriya's 37, but Amitabh hasn't confirmed on the move. In case he accepts, this could be the first Tamil film Amitabh Bachchan would be acting in."
They added: "Aren't there any actors in Tamil. For Anushka itself it was funny and for this I don't know where they will keep the stool."
"They could shoot the entire film by having scenes where the actors sit and not stand," was their another comment.
Hitting out at them, Vignesh Shivan tweeted: "These days..Film industry has becum such a soft target for every1. There is no respect for such a dignified man& something needs to be done".
Vishal posted: "Funny !! ???? Absolutely not. How unethical in the name of sense of humour. Totally senseless".
