The audio launch of Anushka Shetty’s Bhaagamathie (Tamil version) took place in Chennai on Wednesday. The launch was attended by the film’s director G Ashok, actress Vidyullekha Raman, music director S Thaman and the lead actress herself.
“I don’t want to give away spoilers,” she smiled. She assured though that the ‘historical horror-thriller’ that is getting released next week, will be quite different from her recent films, Rudhramadevi and Baahubali.
"Azhaga, breezy-a padam pannanum nu aasai, but somehow, I always end up having to kill people with swords and knives,” she said.
As special guests, Anushka’s Baahubali co-stars Nassar and Ramya Krishnan and one of Anushka’s colleagues – Suriya, attended the audio launch event.
Speaking during the audio launch, music director S Thaman said that just like Baahubali was for Prabhas, Bhaagamathie will turn out to be for Anushka.
