The Velammal group with 32 years of expertise in the field of education and with 1,00,000+ students on rolls is synonymous with grandeur and the 24th Jan 2018 witnessed an impressive colossal formation in its Surapet campus by the girl students of Velammal New-Gen Edu Network schools in regard with National Girl Child Day.
The girl students of Velammal were in the school ground that day to propagate and expresstheir solidarity. The girls numbering 5000+ were representing the symbol of female gender in formation and had placards publicizing gender equality, legal rights, medical care, protection and honour.
With the presence of such girls around it's certain that more changes are in the offering to the nation. To the spectators it was tantamount to emancipation of women and in effect it was so.
