Facing competition from top stars Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, who recently made clear their political plans, the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam is all set to devise strategies.
DMK is all set to hold a nearly two-month long brainstorming session with functionaries from across the state from February 1 to fine-tune the party apparatus ahead of the local body elections expected to be held later this year.
The meeting also comes at a time when two big matinee idols Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan have announced their political entry.
A press release from the DMK headquarters said that Stalin would be meeting the office-bearers from February 1 to March 22 at Anna Arivalayam.
The release said that Stalin would hold discussions mainly on ways to improve the functioning of the party.
The meeting with district level and taluk level office-bearers would be held at the DMK Headquarters 'Anna Arivalayam' in the city, Party general secretary K Anbazhagan said in a release.
