Karthi, after the edge of the seat cop action drama Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru, is now busy shooting for his rural action family entertainer with director Pandiraj of Pasanga fame.
In Tamil, the film has been titled as Kadai Kutty Singam, hinting that Karthi plays the last son in the family and the Telugu dubbed version's title is Chinna Babu.
The film, which is produced by actor and Karthi's brother, Suriya, has Sayyeshaa and Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female leads. Veterans Sathyaraj and Bhanupriya will also be seen in crucial roles.
According to sources, "The film is a rural entertainer, and will have a mix of family drama, romance, comedy, action and also a message. Karthi plays the character of a farmer, and the film will emphasise the importance of farming."

The tagline of the movie is 'Payir Seiyya Virumbu'. Soori plays the comedian and his scenes with Karthi will be a highlight, it is learnt.
