Roadmap ready, says Kamal

Kamal Haasan on Monday chaired a consultative meeting with his fans from southern Tamil Nadu and discussed with them his political journey, which he would commence from Rameswaram next month.

He said on Monday that he would make India proud before his lifetime by setting right things that are currently not correct in the country.

He said this while speaking at the inauguration of the digital branch of Canara Bank at Velachery in Chennai. "The pride of India will start from Tamil Nadu," he said.

"Tamilnadu is pioneering in transforming digitally and this is one such step. I wish, the State’s villages are wired and enabled to digital medium so that their access to the rest of the world gets into a simpler format," he said.

He said plans to reach out to the people are ready and will be implemented.

"The welfare work will grow manifold and like before it will be exemplary and plans for this have been devised and we are going to implement it," he told fans.

He said the journey will be a model that will shed light on the road ahead and the goal as well.
