Vijay Antony haas announced a new cop action thriller film Thimiru Pudichavan with newcomer Ganeshaa. This is for the first time the music composer turned actor is playing a police officer.
Says Ganeshaa, "Instead of the regular hero-villain kind of sequences, this one is a mind game. There will be power-packed action sequences and an intense drama."
He adds: "The film will evoke social awareness and target the youngsters of today to suggest whom they should follow."
Thimiru Pudichavan will also have a Telugu release. To be produced by Fatima Vijay Antony, Richard M Nathan will crank the camera for the film and the shoot will go on floors from February 7.
Vijay Antony will be composing music as well as editing the film. "This story was written keeping him in mind long ago. To be precise, I met him three years ago with this story," the director says.
Meanwhile, Vijay Antony completed the shoot of Kaali with director Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi and also announced that Kaali will hit the screens on March 30.
