Varalakshmi is all set to share screen space with her father and veteran actor Sarath Kumar in his upcoming film Paamban.
According to sources, Varalakshmi is not playing a regular heroine in the film but the actress has a solid action avatar that she will be performing risky stunts.
Confirming the development, the Vikram Vedha actress tweeted: “Happy to announce that I will be acting along side my father @realarathkumar in #Pamban directed by @venkateshdirect super excited to share screen space with u daddy.. all the best to the entire team..!!”
On his part, Sarath tweeted: "Director, cast and crew of #Paamban welcomes @varusarath, Champika , @thesrikanthdeva Rajaratnam, Kanal Kannan, Dinesh, Indira Soundarajan, @venkateshdirect.”
The star cast includes Kota Srinivasa Rao, Ilavarasu, Rajendran, Ganja Karuppu, Imman Annachi, Vincent Ashokan and Rythvika.
Paamban is loosely based on ancient mythologies and director A Venkatesh has also added fictional elements to cater for the current generation audiences.
