Sudeep and Dhanush reportedly met in Bengaluru to join hands for a film.
According to sources, Dhanush is in talks with leading stars from Telugu and Kannada industries to play an important role in his upcoming period directorial movie with Sri Thenandal Films.
There were talks that Chiranjeevi or Nagarjuna will be part of this magnum opus. Now, sources say that Dhanush has managed to get Kannada star Sudeep for a meaty role in the film.
As Sudeep himself is busy with multiple projects including a Hollywood film, we should wait and see whether the Naan Ee and Puli villain gives his nod or not.
The yet-to-be-titled movie is said to be a period film having some scenes said to be set in pre-Independent India.
At present, Dhanush is busy with projects including Maari 2, Yennai Nokki Paayum Thotta and a Hollywood flick.
