With few more days left for the TN visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to launch Amma Two-Wheeler Scheme, Union Minister Pon Radhakrishnan on Tuesday met Governor Banwarilal Purohit and Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami.
Radhakrishnan called on Palaniswami at the latter's residence on Greenways Road here on Tuesday. The meeting assumes significance as the Union Minister of State's meeting with the Chief Minister comes days after his claims of Tamil Nadu becoming training centres for extremists.
Today too, he stuck to his earlier remarks and said there are proofs to support his allegation. Radhakrishnan claimed his meeting with the Chief Minister deliberated upon coordination between State and Centre in implementing various schemes.
Asked about Modi's visit, Radhakrishnan said he didn’t have the complete itinerary of the Prime Minister’s visit to the State.
