Kamal Haasan has said that Tamil cinema's other superstar Rajinikanth and he will have to contemplate whether it is necessary for them to join hands and face elections.
"It is not a decision which needs to be taken at this point of time. We have to float our political parties, reveal our policies and stands. After that, we have to check out whether our ideas match," he said.
Haasan said both of them were being asked repeatedly if they would face the polls together and added that he endorsed the view of Rajinikanth in this respect.
"Rajini sir, to this question had said that only time will give an answer and I had seconded that view. Truly, only time will answer," he said in his weekly column in Tamil magazine 'Ananda Vikatan.'
He also revealed that he continues to seek “political advice” from Communist leader and Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan, who is set to foray into politics soon, will meet a set of "key world influencers from Tamil Nadu," during his ongoing US visit, his office said on Thursday.
As part of the initiative, he has "met Dr KR Sridhar, Founder and CEO, Bloom Energy in Sunnyvale, California, to discuss the prospect of clean energy solutions for Tamil Nadu," the actor's office said in a release.
