Popular Tollywood star Jagapathi Babu, who played villain in Vijay's Bairavaa, is back in Kollywood. He is apparently playing a key role in Suriya's 36th flick.
While it is widely said he will play the baddie, sources close to the team said: “Talks are on but nothing has been confirmed yet”.
Produced by SR Prabhu’s Dream Warrior Pictures, Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music for Suriya 36. The film also has Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh playing important roles.
It may be noted that Selvaraghavan's long pending project Nenjam Marapathillai is yet to be released and he is at present directing Mannavan Vandhanadi which has Santhanam playing the lead role.
The project started with a tweeted by producer S R Prabhu: "Happy to share #Suriya36 Directed by
@selvaraghavan to commence shoot by Jan2018....Cast & crew will be announced soon! #Diwali2018 release !!"
Following this, Selvaraghavan took to Twitter and posted: ""Good morning friends. Happy to be a part of such a prestigious project #Suriya36 and to direct a very special and gifted actor @Suriya_offl."
Responding, Suriya wrote: "So looking forward to work with one of the finest director in our industry..!!"
