The team of Ajith's next, Viswasam, has found its female lead, and it is Nayanthara. After Billa, Aegan and Aarambam, Ajith and Nayanthara are coming together again.
According to sources, it is a performance oriented role and hence, the team wanted a power-packed performer like Nayanthara on board.
"Nayanthara will be the female lead in Viswasam and she has signed on the dotted line," sources close to the unit said, confirming the development.
While the names of Yuvan Shankar Raja, Anirudh, Sam CS and Harris Jayaraj are doing the rounds, we hear that the team is yet to finalise the music director.
Director Siva's regular collaborator Vetri will be handling the cinematography. Unlike Vivegam, which was almost entirely abroad, Viswasam will be shot in India.
Nayanthara was trending on social media after announcement of her two projects were made official. The big news is that she has pipped all her contemporaries to be Ajith’s heroine in Viswasam directed by Siva.
