Aishwarya Rajesh is truly going great guns. The atress, who is currently working in Vikram-Gautham Vasudev Menon's Dhruva Natchathiram and Dhanush-Vetrimaaran's Vada Chennai, has now bagged the upcoming flick of Mani Ratnam.
Confirming the development, the Kaaka Muttai and Kattappava Kaanom actress said, "Yes, it is true! I have signed Mani Ratnam sir's next film, and I am super excited about it''.
After Kaatru Veliyidai, there a lot of hopes on Mani Ratnam's next and it is touted to be a film with a huge star cast which includes the likes of Vijay Sethupathi, Jyothika, Fahad Faasil, Dulquer Salmaan and a few others.
Starting from 36 Vayadhinile, now Magalir Mattum to Nachiyar, it looks like Jyothika will be seen in strong roles. There have been rumours that Mani’s film will be a gangster drama.
Meanwhile, speaking more about the film, Aishwarya said, " All I can say is this will be completely different from Mani sir's previous films. I am happy I got this offer at this stage in my career."
It is learnt that the shooting for the Mani Ratnam movie would start very soon. Music maestro A R Rahman is expected to compose songs and background score.
