It is official now. After several speculations about Mani Ratnam's next film after Kaatru Veliyidai, the team has formally announced the details of the yet untitled project.
According to the statement, the film will be produced by Madras Talkies, Sreekar Prasad will take care of the editing department, AR Rahman is in charge of music and Santhosh Sivan will crank the camera.
Arvind Swami, Simbu, Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Jyotika and Aishwarya Rajesh will be seen in crucial roles in this flick.
Sources say that the film's genre will be completely different from the director’s earlier flicks.
There is a buzz that Vijay Devarakonda, the latest Tollywood sensation, who grabbed everyone’s attention with his riveting performance in Arjun Reddy is on board for this multi-starrer.
The project will go on floors from January 2018. "Mani Ratnam had plans to rope in another hero for the particular role in his upcoming multi-starrer but after watching Arjun Reddy, he signed Vijay Devarakonda", sources added.
