Admin of a popular piracy website has been arrested by the Triplicane D-1 Police in Chennai. And sources said it was all because of the persistent efforts of Vishal.
Speaking to reporters, the general secretary of Nadigar Sangam and presidentof Tamil Film Producers Council said, "A young team has won and we are giving a challenge to pirates like Tamilrockers as we will tackle the menace head on."
He added: "Now with his efforts, a breakthrough has been made in curbing the piracy menace."
Meanwhile, it is said that Gauri Shankar is only the third admin of the site, and the site can only be shut down if they catch the second admin and the owner of the site.
Over the last three years, Vishal had been warning pirates to shut the websites down, failing which they would have to suffer serious consequences.
The police will now begin their inquiry about the Level 2 and Level 1 admins, as the problem will entirely be solved once the top two admins and owners of the website are arrested.
