National Award winning actor Dhanush has recently recorded a song for Padaiveeran, which stars his friend and playback singer Vijay Yesudas.
The film, directed by Dhana, also has Bharathirajaa and newbie Amritha in crucial roles. It may be recalled that Dhanush 'why this kolaveri...' is a viral hit already.
Says Dhana, "The song, titled Local Sarakka Foreign Sarakka, is a fun song about a person feeling nostalgic about his native place."
He adds: Music director Karthiraaja has come up with a catchy folksy number, and we recorded it in his studio a couple of days ago."
Meanwhile, Dhanush has said that said that all the issues related to his long pending Ennai Nokki Paayum Thotta are sorted and the shoot will resume soon.
Director Gautham Vasudev Menon is currently busy with the shoot of Dhruva Natchathiram with Vikram and he also completed the test shoot for his Arun Vijay film.
