Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi, who is playing a key role in Superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming flick Kaala, will take a break from the shoot.
The reason is- to attend an awards show in Dubai that is honouring acid attack survivors.
Says the actress, "It makes me proud to have won an opportunity to be amongst the bravehearts. I hope I draw some courage from them."
According to sources, she has taken the permission of director Pa Ranjith and will be back on the sets of the movie soon after the show.
A few months ago, she posted a pic of the scene paper on Instagram and revealed that her character in Kaala is Zareena.
"Prep mode on 'Kaala'. Slowly becoming Zareena. Working hard. Blessed," Huma posted on her microblogging page.
Also, she posted a picture of the script book, which says 'Kaala leaves with Beemji on the bike. Zareena stands there looking at him."
Ranjith is a big admirer of BR Ambedkar (Beemrao Ramji) and hence kept his Twitter handle as Beemji. Now he has also sketched a character named Beemji in Kaala.
