In a fresh set of tweets, Kamal Haasan has urged the AIADMK government in Tamil Nadu to step down, for its alleged failure to control dengue.
"செவிடர்க்கு நான் ஊதிய டெங்கு ஜுரச் சங்கு வீண். கோபாலபுரம் DAV பள்ளி மாணவன் பார்கவ் பலி. டெங்கு மரணம் தவிர்க்க ஆவன செய்யாஅரசு அகல வேண்டும்," he said, expressing anguish over the death of a school boy.
Urging people not to calm down till an answer is found, he posted: "அரசு தூங்குகிறது பெற்ரோர் விழித்திருங்கள். இனி காவலர் நாம்தான். கேள்விக்கான பதிலை பெறாது அமையாதீர்."
In July too, the 'Indian' and 'Ennaipol Oruvan' actor wanted the government to step down, for its alleged failure in handling dengue.
"A high school drop out may not perceive Neet problem. But Dengu i know My child almost died of it. Work on it TN Govt. If unable move aside," he tweeted.
Last week, Kamal Haasan made clear his political ambitions, indicating that he is ready to serve as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
Speaking to India Today channel, he said, "Someone has to wear the Neta’s cap. It will be a crown of thorns. Someone has to clean the quagmire and make this place habitable for people. I’m not hungry for power but we will seize the opportunity if that’s the only way to deliver for the people."
