Madhavan's son Vedaant has won a bronze medal for India in the 1500 meter freestyle at the Thailand Age Group Swimming Championship 2018.
The achievement by the 12-year-old has obviously made the Minnale and Vikram Vedha actor so proud.
He posted on Instagram: "Proud moment for Sarita and I, as Vedaant wins his first medal for India in an international swim meet in Thailand today."
He added: "Thank you for all your blessings." Madhavan also posted along with a photograph of his son holding the medal and certificate with the backdrop of a stadium.
Madhavan, who is on a break after his shoulder injury and surgery, will soon resume shooting for his Telugu film Savyasachi with Naga Chaitanya. He also has projects in Tamil and Hindi in pipeline.
