Arvind Swami and Amala Paul starrer Bhaskar Oru Rascal, a remake of the Malayalam film 'Bhaskar The Rascal' was all set to hit the screens on April 27.
However now, reports say that the film has been postponed due to unknown reasons. However, we await an official confirmation regarding the same.
Produced by Harshini Movies, Bharathan Films, distributor of Suriya’s Thaanaa Serndha Koottam will release the film in Tamil Nadu.
Written and directed by Siddique, the movie is a remake of his own Malayalam film Bhaskar the Rascal (2015). The film features Arvind Swamy and Amala Paul in the lead roles, while Baby Nainika play supporting roles. The team began production in February 2017.
Siddique revealed that he planned to keep the essence of the original Malayalam film, but would incorporate more action scenes for the Tamil version. Comedy actors including Soori, Ramesh Khanna and Robo Shankar were also drafted in to work on the project.
Meanwhile, there is a buzz that Arvind Swami, who is going strong and steady in his second innings, is all set to join hands with ace director KS Ravikumar for an action entertainer.
