Lord Sri Neervannar , Thiruther Festival at Lord Sri Ranganathar Temple, Tiruneermalai, Chennai took place on 8th April 2018 Sunday morning. Around 5.30 am to 6 am auspicious time the processional deity Lord Sri Neervannar has come to the decorated Thiruther. At 8 am Thiruther took the procession and reached back by 11.45 am.
Alangaram to the Lord Sri Neervannar was done by Sri Kasturi Bhattar, Sri Raju Bhattar, Sri Gautham Bhattar and other Bhattars.
Thousands of devotees gathered to pull the Thiruther and to get the blessings of Lord Sri Neervannar.
Number of devotees provided buttermilk, juices, drinking water to the public who have participated in the Thiruther Festival.
Tamil Nadu Police Department has taken enough care for the safety of the public and smooth trafic during the Divine procession from the beginning to the end.
