Santhanam's heroic venture Sakka Podu Podu Raja all set to release on December 22. On the same day, Sivakarthikeyan's Velaikkaran will also hit the screens.
Santhanam said, "I'm not competing with Sivakarthikeyan. Yes, my film and Siva's film (Velaikkaran) are releasing on the same day. I always welcome healthy competition."
Directed by Jayam Raja, Velaikkaran is produced by 24AM Studios. It features Nayanthara as heroine. Fahad Fazil, Sneha, Prakashraj, Robo Shankar, RJ Balaji and Crazy Sathish are also in the cast. Anirudh has scored the music.
Sakka Podu Podu Raja sais directed by Sethuraman, who worked in Lollu Sabha before. Santhanam, Vaibhavi Shandilya and Vivekh play lead roles. Actor Simbu is debuting as music composer.
Meanwhile, the makers of ‘Attakathi’ Dinesh’s long-delayed Ulkuthu have confirmed that the film will be releasing on December 22. Bala’s Naachiyaar is another film which targets the Christmas weekend but the team is waiting to get clearance from the censor board.
