In a prelude to his political entry, Superstar Rajinikanth will be meeting his fans from December 26 to January 1 in Chennai.
The 'thalaivar' earlier said that he would be meeting his fans once again after his birthday (December 12). Fans from eighteen districts across Tamil Nadu will be attending this meet in Chennai.
The actor's fan club has sought police protection the event to be held at the Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam at Kodambakkam in Chennai.
This will be his second meeting with his fans this year. Members of the fan club will get an opportunity to take a photograph with their matinee idol.
Gandhia Makkal Iyakkam convener Tamilaruvi Manian, who is said to be advising Rajinikanth on politics, has said the superstar would confirm his political foray during his meetings with fans scheduled to be held later this month.
"Rajinikanth, who is meeting his fans from December 26 to 31, will sure confirm his entry into politics. For the past 20 years, there has been a debate about his entering politics. The fans meeting will give an answer," he said.
