Simbu aka STR is currently attending a special acting workshop for his next film with ace director Mani Ratnam.
It is said STR will be the hero of Mani Ratnam's yet-to-be-titled film.
The movie has music by AR Rahman and cinematography by Santosh Sivan, the cast of the film also include Jyothika, Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swami and Aishwarya Rajesh and Fahadh Faasil.
STR’s ardent fans were disappointed because of the box office disaster of AAA and the ongoing rumor saying TFPC to issue a red card to the actor. However, the new selfie pic of STR with Mani Ratnam and news on the actor attending the workshop has brought a fresh smile to his fans.
It is also said that Simbu has sought blessing from Mani Ratnam for his musical debut Sakka Podu Podu Raja which is set to hit screens on December 22.
