Rajini-Ranjith new film to begin in May

There will be no summer vacation for the Superstar, as he will start shooting for his upcoming film with director Ranjith in May.

The movie in question, which is untitled yet, will be bankrolled by Rajinikanth's son-in-law and actor Dhanush, who owns Wunderbar Films.

"Ranjith will be completing the script in a couple of weeks. Meanwhile, his team has already started looking for suitable locations in the city for the shoot," sources said.

After Kabali, Rajinikanth is once again collaborating with director Pa Ranjith for Dhanush’s home production venture.

In August last year, Dhanush took to Twitter and said that Wunderbar Films would helm the Superstar’s next film, which will be directed by Ranjith.

Also, Ranjith had re-tweeted Dhanush’s post with his trademark ‘Magizhchi’.

It looks like that this untitled flick will be released after Shankar’s mega-budgeted project 2.0, a sequel to Enthiran (2010), which is to hit screens this Deepavali.
