Seven persons have been taken into custody in connection with the harassment of actress Bhavana, police said.
Police had aken the driver of the actress' vehicle into custody soon after she complained about the ordeal she underwent while travelling from Thrissur to Kochi for dubbing.
According to sources, the whole thing was a setup. They had planned to accost her on the way, and they used a tempo trawler to block her vehicle, and make it look like an accident, so that they can get access to her car.
"Their intention was to blackmail her, but Bhavana’s bravery in going to the police foiled their plans.”
The culprits reportedly took videos and photos of the young actor as well. After getting off at Palarivattom, the gang escaped in another car. According to Manorama News, Sunil Kumar AKA Pulsar Suni is the main culprit in this case.
Kerala DGP Loknath Behera has constituted a joint
