Allu Arjun-Lingusamy film not shelved

There were reports that Telugu actor Allu Arjun's debut movie in Tamil, which is to be helmed by Lingusamy, was dropped. But the claim has been denied.

Lingusamy took the twitter and put end to all the speculation and posted on the wall of twitter, “#Sandakozhi2 will be Commencing Shortly & @StudioGreen2 - @alluarjun Project will commence immediately after this. #NoMoreRumours #Vishal.”

The upcoming venture will mark the Telugu actor Bunny’s entry into Kollywood. Currently he is busy in the shoot of ongoing flick DJ: Duvvada Jagannadham under the direction of Harish Shankar. Actress Pooja Hegde is playing lead role in the production venture of Dil Raju.

In September, Allu Arjun along with Lingusamy and producer KE Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green announced the project in Chennai at a press meet, much to the excitement of his fans in Kollywood.

Earlier reports also suggested that the film faced uncertainty before it was officially announced. According to reports, after Lingusamy narrated the story to Allu Arjun, the project was put on hold due to unknown reasons and the director approached Junior NTR with a different subject.
