Panneerselvam to continue 'dharma yudhdham', to tour TN

Former chief minister O Panneerselvam, who said that he would continue his 'dharma yudhdham', is planning to start a tour of Tamil Nadu 'seeking justice'.

"Panneerselvam's 'needhi kettu payanam' will commence soon," said OPS supporter, MLA and former minister Semmalai.

"Let us all together stop the party and government from going into the hands of a single family again. Let us form a people's government again in sync with the aspirations of people and till then this struggle will continue," he said.

"Till such time Puratchi Thalaivi Amma's regime is restored, our struggle (Dharma Yudh) will continue," he said.

After visiting Jayalalithaa's memorial, he said processions would be held all over TN today, urging legislators to support him during trust vote in Assembly.

Meanwhile, tense moments prevailed in front of Panneerselvam's residence for a while when a minor scuffle broke out between his supporters and those of Law Minister C Ve Shanmugam. A policeman and a supporter of Panneerselvam were injured in stone pelting.
