In a twist to the tale, Imman has been confirmed to compose music for Ajith’s Viswasam. This is for the first time Imman would compose music for a 'thala' film.
Earlier, names of Anirudh, Yuvan Shankar Raja and Harris Jayaraj were doing the rounds as the music composer of Viswasam, it may be recalled.
Director Shakti Soundarajan of Miruthan and Tik Tik Tik fame wished the composer on bagging the project. " Congrats @immancomposer for bagging #Thala's #Viswasam!!!", tweeted Shakti.
Imman has composed more than 100 films in his career but Viswasam is his first association with Ajith. Hence, he is obviously excited about it, sources say.
Nayanthara will be the female lead in Viswasam and she has signed on the dotted line. This will mark the fourth time that Nayanthara will be pairing up with Ajith.
According to sources, it is a performance oriented role and hence, the team wanted a power-packed performer like Nayanthara on board.

Director Siva's regular collaborator Vetri will be handling the cinematography. Unlike Vivegam, which was almost entirely abroad, Viswasam will be shot in India.
