Suriya's Thaanaa Serndha Koottam has been officially censored with UA certificate and the makers are planning for a grand theatrical release on January 12.
Rumoured to be the remake of Akshay Kumar’s Special 26, TSK is a heist comedy featuring an ensemble cast of Karthik, Keerthy Suresh, Senthil and Ramya Krishnan.
The audio of Suriya’s Thaana Serntha Kootam, which marks his maiden collaboration with director Vignesh Shivan, will be released today.
It is going to be a ladies' special for Suriya’s fans out there in Kerala. Yes, the Suriya Fans and Welfare Association State Committee and V-1000 Lovers Ladies Unit have planned for a special show exclusively for women on the release of the star’s upcoming film Thaana Serntha Kootam.
While agreeing that the producers of TSK had bought the remake rights of Special 26, the director Vignesh Shivan revealed that it is not an exact remake.
Only the core theme of the film has been retained while the rest has been changed to suit the nativity of the audiences, he is reported to have said.
