We have not authorised anyone to speak on behalf of Rajini: Fans Association
Rajini Rasigar Mandram, which was rechristened today as Rajini Makkal Mandram, has said that it has not authorised anyone to speak on behalf of the superstar in television debates.
In a statement, the association's administrator V M Sudhakar said, "this is to state that for the past few days some individuals are appearing in TV channels as supporters or fans of Rajinikanth and expressing their personal views in debates."
"The All India Rajinikanth Fans Association / Rajini Makkal Mandram have not authorised any such individuals to appear in TV debates on our behalf and viewes expressed by them in TV debates did not have our endorsement," he said.
"The views expressed by those individuals in many issues do not reflect our official position in such matters," he added and requested media houses not to encourage anyone as Rajini fan or supporter.
