For the first time in his career, Anirudh Ravichander will be composing music for Superstar Rajinikanth's next film, to be directed by Karthik Subbaraj.
Sun Pictures, the producers of the movie, tweeted: "We are happy to announce that for the first time, @anirudhofficial will be composing the music for @superstarrajini’s movie, produced by @SunPictures. #SuperstarwithSunPictures."
In an earlier interaction, Karthik Subbaraj said that he is planning to deliver a pukka Thalaivar film and audiences can witness the grandness in the script.
Anirudh said, "Dreams do come true and how. Extremely delighted and elated to be scoring music for our Thalaivar. The one and only Rajinikanth. Excited to join hands with one of my favourite directors Karthik Subbaraj."
Anirudh who debuted as a music director in 2011 instantly became a rockstar with his viral hit “Why this Kolaveri di”.
With few years, the composer has made massive strides composing music for big budget flicks starring some of the top stars in the industry.
Meanwhile, ahead of its official launch today, the teaser of Kaala was leaked on the social media, prompting the film's producer Dhanush to release it officially on his Twitter account.
The teaser is a complete treat to Rajini fans. It has the Superstar saying: ‘Kya re, setting ah. Vengai magan othaila nikken. Dil irundha mothama vaanga le’.
