Huge Public Meeting was held on 19.3.2018 evening under the Presidentship of Mr S V SEKHAR Ex MLA Mylapore, Condeming and Protesting for cutting the POONAL (Sacred Thread) of Brahmin (Part of the Tamil Tradition) at Mylai Maankollai, Mylapore, Chennai

The above meeting was held in the presence of Advocate Mylai Sri S Satya, Founder Mahakavi Bharathiyar Kazhakam with very good gathering from all walks of life.

Mr S V Sekhar started the meeting informing about the speakers who are going to speak on the meeting. He also requested the public to be there till the end of the meeting with discipline.

Sri S V Sekhar gave a fit and proper speech in the meeting. He also informed the public due legal help and action will be taken for those affected person. He also informed that he can be contacted at any time for any such help.

He thanked the Police Department for giving the proper security arrangements for the meeting also the Media who have come to cover the meeting. He also thanked Advocate Mylai S Sathya for taking the efforts in organizing the function in all respects.

People who have gathered were well disciplined from the beginning to the end of the meeting.
