Indian 2, which marks the coming together of veteran actor Kamal Haasan and filmmaker Shankar for the second time, will hit the floors soon.
According to reports, the pre-production work is going on in full swing and the team is all set to begin shoot at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.
A brief portion of the film will be shot in Thailand, reports said. Unlike 2.0 and Enthiran, there will not be much CG works for Indian2 so Shankar is confident of releasing the film in the first half of 2019.
Once Kamal completes his ongoing political tour, he will start shooting for Indian 2 with director Shankar.
Kamal Haasan, who recently floated his political party Makkal Needhi Maiam, stated that he would quit films once he enters full-time politics.
Buzz is that Anirudh will be composing music for the film and Jayamohan is penning the dialogues.
