Pushkar-Gayathri to direct Vikram Vedha Hindi version

2017’s most celebrated Tamil film Vikram Vedha is all set to be remade in Hindi. Pushkar Gayatri, the duo who made the Tamil version will be remaking the film in Hindi.



Y Not Studios which successfully co-produced Saala Khadoos and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan is now confirmed to co-produce the Hindi remake of Vikram Vedha with Reliance Entertainment and its partners Plan C studios.



"Super excited to announce our next production @VikramVedhaFilm Hindi remake.@RelianceEnt @PlanC_Studios @FridayFilmworks @Shibasishsarkar @PushkarGayatri," tweeted Y Not Studios, which produced the movie in Tamil as well.



It is said that Madhavan might reprise his role in the remake as well and the other star to take on VIjay Sethupathi's role is yet to be announced.



In a statement, Y Not Studios said, "After our two successful co-productions in Hindi, Saala Khadoos & Shubh Mangal Saavdhan with Rajkumar Hirani & Anand L. Rai respectively, we at YNot Studios are super excited to join hands with Anil D. Ambani led Reliance Entertainment and its partners Plan C studios spearheaded by the dynamic Neeraj Pandey for our third production, to be directed by Pushkar and Gayatri”.
