Team Saamy Square has successfully completed 80% of the shoot. Director Hari has shot the film in multiple locations including Tirunelveli, Yercaud, Delhi, and Jaisalmer.
Chiyaan Vikram and director Hari are once again coming together for a mass entertainer Saamy Square, which is a sequel to the 2003 blockbuster cop film.
The shooting is currently put on hold due to the ongoing strike in the industry. Recently, a video of Vikram having fun on the sets of ‘Saamy Square’ went viral among fans on social media.
Sources say that Saamy Square is a revenge action entertainer. Bobby Simha, OAK Sundar, and John Vijay are playing as the sons of the Kota Sreenivasa Rao, the baddie in the first part of the film.
Produced by Thameens Films, Devi Sri Prasad has given music scores for the film. The makers are planning for a release later this year.
Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for the film and A Venkatesh is cranking the camera.
