After Andhra Pradesh's ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP) on Friday pulled out of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and was set to move a no-confidence motion against the government, Tamil Nadu's AIADMK said it was yet to decide on its move.
Meanwhile, speaking to newsmen at Erode on Friday afternoon, Stalin said chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami and deputy CM O Panneerselvam should learn from Chandrababu Naidu.
Replying to a query about the probability of South Indian States getting together to moot the proposal of forming a separate 'Dravida Naadu', Stalin said that the DMK would certainly support such a proposal as and when it takes form.
In the AIADMK, former MP K C Palanisamy said that if the Central government does not set up the Cauvery Water Management Board then the party will support the no-confidence motion of the TDP.
However, Lok Sabha Deputy Speaker, M Thambidurai said that AIADMK's request for setting up of CWMB and TDP's request for special package are not the same.
"Our party will take a stand in the no-confidence motion during the time of the floor test," he said.
