Actress Nagma, who is now All India Mahila Congress General Secretary, called on Tamil superstar Rajinikanth at his residence in Chennai on Sunday.
She posted on her Twitter page: "In conversation with my favourite #co-star and friend #Rajnikanth from Baasha met him today was so nice to catch up wth him in various issues."
The actress-turned-politician also posted pictures from the meeting.
Speaking to reporters later, she said that the meeting had nothing to do with 'Mahila Congress.'
To a question, she said many people have huge expectations from Rajinikanth. "If he comes politics he will be very successful and he will be very good".
It may be recalled that Rajini and Nagma had acted together in Baasha, the blockbuster movie of 1995.
