Stalin, Ramadoss demand sacking of AIADMK (Amma) govt

As the AIADMK government completed one year in office on Tuesday, DMK working president M K Stalin has said there will be a regime change in the state soon, in a democratic manner.

TNCC president S Thirunavukkarasar and PMK founder S Ramadoss too have sought the removal of the ‘corrupt regime’ at the earliest, charging it with failing to protect state autonomy and sacrificing state’s rights.

Union ministers are conducting review meetings at the secretariat and the all the ministers are under the centre’s control, Stalin said.

The past one year has been the continuation of the pain of the previous five years, he said about the AIADMK retaining power in the last year's Assembly elections, and added, "But the sufferings will end soon."

"Darkness has covered Tamil Nadu in the past six years, and the rays of the (rising) sun (his party symbol) will sure offer brightness," he said.

Ramadoss wanted the removal of the corrupt regime since it had earned the hatred of the people more than any government in the past.

Thirunavukkarasar said while the AIADMK had sought about Rs. 39,000 crore for drought relief the Centre had granted only Rs 1,700 crore. The government did not have the courage to raise its voice against injustice of the centre in drought relief and refusal to form Cauvery Management Board, he said.
