Superstar Rajinikanth, who returned to Chennai from Mumbai on Thursday, said he would meet his fans again stepping up expectations about the possibility of his entry into politics.
He said this while talking to reporters at the city airport. He however did not reply when journalists asked him about his political entry.
Meanwhile, there were some reports that Malayalam superstar Mammootty will play a character based on Dr. Ambedkar in the forthcoming Rajinikanth movie Kaala.
The film is being directed by Pa Ranjith. But the news that Mammootty would play Ambedkar has been denied by those close to the superstar.
Social media was buzzing with reports that Mammootty has been signed on to play B.R. Ambedkar-like role in the film. Also, it is said that if all goes well, the film’s producer Dhanush will be playing the younger version of Rajini.
Ranjith is a big admirer of BR Ambedkar (Beemrao Ramji) and hence kept his Twitter handle as Beemji. Now he has also sketched a character named Beemji in Kaala.
