The latest buzz in the media circle is that the makers of Superstar Rajinikanth's Kaala have approached Mollywood star Mammootty to play an important role in the film.
Also, it is said that if all goes well, the film’s producer Dhanush will be playing the younger version of Rajini.
Social media is buzzing with reports that Mammootty has been signed on to play B.R. Ambedkar-like role in the film.
Reacting to the reports, a source from the film's unit was quoted as saying, "I'm not at liberty to speak. It's best if the makers react to such things."
Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi has posted a pic of the scene paper on Instagram and revealed that her character in Kaala is Zareena.
"Prep mode on 'Kaala'. Slowly becoming Zareena. Working hard. Blessed," Huma posted on her microblogging page.
Also, she posted a picture of the script book, which says 'Kaala leaves with Beemji on the bike. Zareena stands there looking at him."
Director Pa Ranjith is a big admirer of BR Ambedkar (Beemrao Ramji) and hence kept his Twitter handle as Beemji. Now he has also sketched a character named Beemji in Kaala.
