After Superstar Rajinikanth's Kabali which spoke about the plight of Tamils in Malaysia, another film has now been made on the same subject.
Titled Thottam, the movie has Singai Jagan as hero with K S Maniam playing a crucial role. Produced by Blue Eye Productions, the film is directed by Arangannal Raju.
The movie's audio launch function in Chennai was attended by directors Seenu Ramasamy, Shakthi Chidambaram, Robert Rajasekar, cinematographer B Kannan, lyricists Yugabharathi, actors Aari and Abhi Saravanan among others.
Speakers at the function said the film will throw light on Tamil workers, who are behind the skyrises and farms in Malaysia. The film, besides highlighting the troubles of workers, has also been made in commercial format, they said.
