Kalakalappu 2 is fast taking shape and director Sundar C is said to be packing the film with lot of fun-filled moments to make it more interesting than Kalakalappu.
Meanwhile, the broadcast rights of the movie have been bagged by Sun TV group. “.@SunTVbuys broadcast rights of #SundarC’s #Kalakalappu2 movie”, Sun TV posted on Twitter.
Sources say that Sundar C is planning to wrap up Kalakalappu 2 in December and the film is likely to hit the screens for Pongal 2018.
Sundar's favourite Hiphop Tamizha is composing the music for the film and it is learnt that the audio launch will be happening in December.
The movie is written and directed by Sundar C and produced by Kushboo, which is a sequel to the 2012 film Kalakalappu.
The film features Jiiva, Jai, Shiva, Nikki Galrani and Catherine Tresa in the lead roles. After being in pre-production since 2012, the film began production in October 2017.
