With those in power asking him proof for his allegations, Kamal Haasan has tweeted a YouTube link of Arappor Iyakkam, titled 'Kollaiyane Veliyeru - Operation Chennai Corporation'.
"This is just expose 1 Keep at it Arappore warriors," the actor-filmmaker, who on Tuesday night, changed his profile picture on DP, which has him in Mahakavi Bharathi get-up, tweeted.
Meanwhile, Charu Haasan has come to the aid of his younger brother, Kamal Haasan. Charu stated that to understand and to accept Kamal's views are two different things.
Charu retaliated to minister Jayakumar's comments on Kamal by posing a counter question over the conviction of Jayalalithaa in the Disproportionate Assets Case.
"If you say that you'll follow Amma's footsteps, does that mean you'll also loot 60 cr from the people? If you want to file a case against me for my views, go ahead. I stay within Teynampet police limit. I'm not going to leave you until you disown Amma style of governance. The only thing I and the Supreme Court know about Amma government is her 60 crore DA case", he posted on Facebook.
A day after actor Kamal Haasan slammed the Tamil Nadu government for corruption in a tweet, fisheries minister D Jayakumar said the state would not hesitate to take action against him if he continued to make baseless allegations.
"The actor seems to live in an unreal world. He should come out of Twitter first," the minister said. Jayakumar said the actor had said he would leave the country (in the wake of Jayalalithaa government filing an appeal against the court verdict clearing screening of his film "Vishwaroopam"). "He kept quiet when Amma was alive. Have the spineless got spine now?" the minister said.
