Talking about this Namitha Babu the college going young girl says, “ I must say the start I have had so far has been very satisfying. It all started with lovely tunes in ‘Sandiveeran’ and then ‘Thirunal’ movie , after that Ghibran sir gave me a nice platform in ‘Magalir Mattum’ in which I sang two songs and got a lot of appreciation and recognition for it. I have also sung in the Telugu version of Dheeran adhigaram onrdu ‘Kaakhi ‘. I would like to continue this streak of brilliant songs. I am confident the hardwork I am putting in wanting to get better everyday and be on par with the best singers, will take me higher. Being qualified in western classical gives me a huge advantage in shifting genres without much difficulty. I am really looking forward to work with more and more music directors and be the voice behind many more beautiful songs “
