DENGUE AWARENESS RALLY BY VELAMMALDENGUE AWARENESS RALLY BY VELAMMAL

Considering the rise in the number of victims due to dengue and help create a Dengue Free Chennai, Velammal initiated DENGUE AWARENESS RALLY, a rally covering a distance of 2 kms from Thirumangalam to Velammal School (Mogappair Campus) on 10.10.2017 (Today). This rally was flagged off by Mr.Eswaran, Deputy Commissioner, Traffic West Range, Chennai.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS

• Students raised slogans and carried placards on the topic.

• Dengue Awareness leaflets were distributed to the students.

 • A few students were dressed up as Yamadharma Raja, Doctors and nurses in the rally

.• Students performed a skit and mime as part of the initiative

.• The school had also taken measures to educate the students on the preventive measures  to FIGHT DENGUE through various activities and video shows.

 • Dengue Awareness pamphlets were distributed to all the students.
