Following the huge box office success of Baahubali-2 and Puli Murugan, Kerala is now in awe of the latest sensation – Villain. The film featuring Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal, Vishal, Manju Warrier and Hansika Motwani is directed by Unni Krishnan B. The film was released on October 27 turned to be a grand opening. The movie features Mohanlal as a retired police officer and Vishal as doctor with the twist of unpredicted turns placed in the script. The film ‘Villain’ has grossed with big numbers in box office, thereby eclipsing the previous records of Mohanlal movies. It is reported that Mohanlal was earlier appreciated for a spellbinding performance in Drishyam and aftermath its success, this is the movie that has gained him great laurels. The film is bankrolled by Rockline Venkatesh, who happens to be producer of many blockbuster movies including Salman Khan’s ‘Bajirangi Baijan’.
