Can't float party due to media pressure: Kamal

Kamal Haasan, on Thursday, doused his fans' expectations of launching a political party, saying he can't make any such announcement under media pressure.




Earlier in the day, expectations ran high, as Kamal, in his political series ‘Ennul Mayyam Konda Puyal’ in Ananda Vikatan, hinted that he will be making an important announcement on his birthday (November 7) to establish a communication channel between people and his welfare organization.




Kamal said that it’s time for an emergency operation and can’t wait anymore for good things to happen on its own.




“I have an unsettling anger on thieves who converted human services like education, medicine, and politics into business. I can see a young army waiting for the right time and feel that it’s my duty and necessity to unit them”, he said.




With the article creating a big buzz, Kamal came out with a tweet later in the day.




He said that he can't make any such announcement under media pressure. and that public announcements will be made in the "people's court".




He said that meeting his fan club members on November 7, his birthday has been a tradition for years.
